"All Ranks" Class

This is our general empty-handed class open to all adult/teen dojo members of all levels. Beginners are encouraged to attend. This class includes the body-mind basics of applying technique, receiving technique, falling skills, and expressing the living principle of Aikido. Basics transition into more dynamic, complex, and dimensional work in this class as it's appropriately needed.

"All Ranks, Sticks" Class

This is our class dedicated to the traditional Aikido weapons system, and the ongoing exploration of using implements in our training. We primarily use the wooden staff and sword, but our work is not limited to that. All levels are welcome, and beginners are encouraged to attend.

"All Ranks, Freestyle" Class

This is our class dedicated to the dynamics of the free expression of Aikido. For the most part, this is a non-technical class and is instructed as a guided exploration. All levels are welcome, however, everyone should expect to train with those of their own level.

The "Aikido Lounge"

This is a less formal gathering (no uniform necessary) currently held on the first Friday of each month for the purpose of cultivating clarity and well-being, and integrating Aikido into life. Aikido principle and philosophy are integrated into these get-togethers through practices in meditation, self-inquiry, mindfulness, embodiment, etc. All members are encouraged to take advantage of this unique growth opportunity.

Aikido 101

Get a full taste of this powerful and beautiful art. You'll practice the basics of getting centered, blending with the energy of attack, and turning it into something positive. You'll also learn to fall safely under a variety of circumstances.

Aikido 101 is an option for beginning adults that generally begins at the start of each month. Choose two weekly classes to attend over a four-week period. Dojo membership is not required, and you do not need a training uniform. A great introduction to Aikido!
