"The whole idea of training is to become a better expression of Aikido's primary principle--that we're all part of the same system, and that you are an empowered participant. THAT is the focus of these cohorts. They're a head start into the depth of Aikido whether you continue training in the art form or not." -DG
Cohorts are on designated dates over a two-week period, and are held on Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday. These are small, enthusiastic groups in process together, so please be sure you can dedicate yourself to it before registering. Current sessions include:
June 15-27 • August 10-22 • September 14-26
Nothing more than your dedicated time and attention is needed to begin. You can wear sweats or clothes for movement (no shorts).
This video is an oldie but a goodie, and still applies. Perhaps participating in a cohort will be your fast track to becoming what Aikido is all about.
All cohorts are for two weeks on Saturdays 10am-12pm, Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm, and Thursdays 6:30-8pm.
Not if you already know. Obviously life can be unpredictable and the possibility of missing something important is always there. But if you already know, then maybe consider joining our classes the regular way, or hold off until you have the dedicated time.
Only $149. And that's for 9 hours of training directly with Goldberg Sensei, and getting straight to what he considers to be Aikido's most important take-aways, whether it's on or off the mat.
No. Take a self defense class. This is about Aikido and the embodiment of its power, wisdom, and beauty.
