Frequently Asked Questions
for the seminar
Can I register at the door?
If there is still space, yes, but we encourage to register earlier to ensure a spot. We can’t guarantee we will be able to accommodate you.
How is the registration process?
- You fill out the Google Form so we understand how to invoice you for the seminar, and we can plan for meals and accommodation.
- Within 24 hours you will receive an email from Wodify (check in the spam folder if you haven’t received it or contact us at info@aikidosd.com). That email will invite you to sign the contract and waiver (if applicable).
- Click through the Wodify email to pay
When do I pay for dinner and/or accommodation?
As soon as you fill out the registration form, you will be prompted only to pay for the seminar.
Should you join us for our catered dinner on Saturday and/or stay overnight at the dojo, you can pay for it when you come for the seminar. Should you have any question, please don’t hesitate to reach out at info@aikidosd.com
Can I bring a guest for Saturday dinner?
Yes, please let us know by February 2nd how many people you are planning to bring when you fill out the form.
Do you accept students from other schools?
Yes! People from other dojos are welcome! If it’s your first time participating at an Evolutionary Aikido seminar, we invite you to bring your curiosity to experience this seminar with new eyes.
Can you help me with accommodation?
We have different options for you, depending on your budget and what you’re looking for:
- You could stay at the dojo for $40/person/night
- We could look for someone local who could host you
- There’s a small hotel –The Lamplighter Inn & Suites at SDSU– across the street you could use if you don’t want to commute much
If you’ll need our assistance, please make sure to select your preferred option when you fill out the form.
Why can't I just sign up for one or two days?
The Evolutionary Aikido Seminar is meant to be experienced in a progressive manner. Coming and going will result in a lack of context and therefore it’s not recommended.
What's your refund policy for the seminar?
If the seminar gets cancelled, you will get full refund.
Should you decide to cancel your registration before November 30, 2025, you will get full refund less payment processing fees. If you cancel between December 1, 2025, and January 20, 2026, you will be refunded less a cancellation fee of $65.
